TennoCon 2017 Over Half Sold Out;

Digital Pack Pre-Order Sales Have Begun

LONDON, ON Independent developer and publisher Digital Extremes proudly unveiled this year’s charitable partner for TennoCon 2017 is Covenant House Toronto. Aiming to double last year’s TennoCon charitable donation of nearly $75,000, Digital Extremes is pledging a portion of the event’s ticket sales to the life changing charity focused on assistance for at-risk and homeless youth.

The second annual TennoCon — the day players gather to celebrate everything Warframe — will be held July 8 in London, Ontario, Canada and is already over halfway sold out. Pre-order sales begin today on the TennoCon Digital Pack, a custom-built package of in-game goods for Tenno unable to attend the event in person.

The pack (to be distributed on July 8) features a variety of Warframe in-game items specially designed to commemorate TennoCon and can be pre-ordered here (warframe.com/tennocon).

The TennoCon Digital Pack includes:
  • TennoCon Glyph
  • 370 Platinum
  • TennoCon Display (Landing Craft Decoration)
  • Name entered into the Digital Platinum Jackpot Prize of 100,000 Platinum, with the winner announced during TennoLive at the show
  • TennoCon Relay unlocked in the Star Chart day of the event for exclusive digital ticket holder access to Void Trader, Baro Ki’Teer

To join the Warframe celebration, players have flexible options to attend TennoCon 2017. The newly available Digital Pack, mentioned above, is for those who are unable to attend. Full Day tickets to attend TennoCon 2017 in person are currently still available but going fast with over half sold, making the goal to double the charitable donation well within reach.

Digital Extremes researched many worthy charitable organizations before choosing this year’s partner. Canada’s largest homeless youth agency, Covenant House Toronto, provides comprehensive services including education, mental health and substance abuse counseling, healthcare, employment assistance, job and life skill training and aftercare work for at-risk and homeless youth.

“Covenant House’s principles align with Digital Extremes’ beliefs in execution-focused charities that make a noticeable difference in their respective communities,” said Meridith Braun, vice-president, publishing. “We’re incredibly impressed by their dedication and boots-on-the-ground work ethic to help some of our most vulnerable youth find a better way in the world and are proud to support their continued efforts.”
