Twitch Announces Extensive Live Streaming Schedule for E3 2016

Twitch brings back co-streaming and international feeds, while debuting an eclectic mix of gaming culture and humor with The Pre-Pre Show

SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Twitch, the world’s leading social video platform and community for gamers, today announced its return as the official live streaming partner of E3 2016. In addition to featuring the expo’s most notable press conferences and shows, Twitch will be broadcasting E3-related content beginning the weekend before doors open and throughout the entire conference. Based on the community’s positive reception last year, there will also be multiple foreign language broadcasts and the ability for the community to co-stream content

Stop by the Twitch booth (#1401 in South Hall) to catch the live broadcast of the official E3 Twitch Stream, Powered by T-Mobile or view it online at the Twitch E3 Portal where all press events and booth broadcasts will be accessible in a one-stop-shop viewing directory. The following is an overview of what Twitch fans can experience at the booth and online.

The Twitch Stream

– The Pre-Pre Show

Debuting on Sunday, June 12, is this 9 hour high-energy mix of gaming culture, indie devs, and comedy. Some of the highlights include Fear the Gun doing a Friday the 13th: The Game gameplay reveal, The Cinefamily presenting their Most Outrageous Video Games live, and 5-Second Films doing a live director’s commentary of their film Dude Bro Party Massacre III. Hosts include Twitch’s Jon Carnage with HelloKellyLink, MANvsGAME, Ezekiel III, and FuturemanGaming.

– Day 0

Watch the most anticipated press conferences of E3 unfold alongside pre-show expectations, post-show recaps, and exclusive reveals. Hosts include Twitch’s djWHEAT and Anna Prosser Robinson, with Joseph “Swiftor” Alminawi, Rachel “Seltzer” Quirico, and The Attack’s Alex Corea.

– The Main Show

Viewers can tune into daily content broadcast live from the Twitch stage where Twitch’s Jon Carnage, djWHEAT, and Anna Prosser Robinson, with FuturemanGaming, Ezekiel III, MANvsGAME, Swiftor, and Seltzer, host segments with dozens of publishers and developers. This includes 2K, Activision, BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America, Deep Silver, EA, KOEI TECMO, Nexon, Nintendo, Paradox Interactive, PlayStation, SEGA, Starbreeze, Square Enix, Ubisoft, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and Xbox, among many others.

Also airing on Twitch’s E3 broadcast are two documentaries from VICE Gaming, both of which are sponsored by Taco Bell. On Monday at 6:00pm will be the premiere of Pixel by Pixel, a documentary following Alex Preston, the creator of Hyper Light Drifter, in the months before the game’s release. Then on Tuesday at 6:00pm there will be a preview of the documentaryVersus, which focuses on Hi-Rez Studios and the SMITE community.

– Co-Streaming

Providing an experience unique to Twitch, Twitch broadcasters will once again be able to co-stream all E3 content from twitch.tv/twitch to their own channels. By doing their own commentary or just watching things unfold alongside their followers, it enables them to offer a personalized, social experience that caters specifically to their own communities.

– Foreign Language Broadcasts

In addition to RocketBeansTV’s German language broadcast from the Twitch booth, there will be multiple remote co-streams from around the world by local Partners, including Jeuxvideo (France), welovegames (Russia), Pietsmiet (Germany),Alexelcapo (Spain), and Twitchkr (Korea), with additional countries to be announced. They will all be commentating in their native languages as they interpret and showcase E3 in their respective countries.

The Twitch Booth (#1401 South Hall) and Partner Lounge (#1013 South Hall)

– Twitch Partner Lounge, powered by Samsung

Making its E3 debut, this lounge will provide broadcasting Partners with a place to relax, stream, and try some VR games.

– Intel Broadcaster Zone

RocketBeansTV will be hosting German language satellite coverage live from the Intel Broadcaster Zone in a segment packed with interviews, news, and other E3 highlights.

– Xbox on Twitch

Xbox on Twitch will feature on the ground coverage every day of the show, dedicated to all the major announcements coming from Xbox at E3, including demos of upcoming games and executive interviews, all at the Twitch booth. View it online at twitch.tv/xbox.

The Twitch booth features high-performance professional audio provided by Turtle Beach, Twitch’s official audio partner, as well as segments from Alienware, Bud Light All-Stars, Deep Silver, and Brisk.

This is Twitch’s third year as the official live streaming platform of E3. The partnership with the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) is part of a long-standing agreement that heightens the global presence for this prominent video game event.
