Plants vs. Zombies 2 introduces Keysplosion! For the first time ever, all 11 in-game Worlds in PvZ2 can be unlocked and explored instantly by any player for free. The Keysplosion allows all players, new and old, to adventure their way through any World and all 312 levels, introducing more choice and freedom to their battle of doom versus bloom. The PvZ2 Worlds will also be reordered to introduce bigger challenges and higher stakes. Players’ skills will be tested at each progressing stage and guided through escalating challenges that prepare them for the zombies ahead.

Developer Popcap has released its free-to-play Plants vs Zombies 2 ahead of its delayed release in New Zealand and Australia.
The released version is intended for testing the market. Popcap announced that it will be releasing new plants in the future. In addition, even though the game is free-to-play, premium features will be available for purchase. via ingame microtransactions.
Developer PopCap announced that the original July 18th release date for Plants vs Zombies 2 has been delayed until later this summer.
The game will release on iOS first. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we get an official release date.
