Square Enix Montreal Announces Hitman: Sniper Tournament

Critically Acclaimed Mobile Game Available for $1.99

MONTREAL (November 25, 2015) – In honor of Square Enix and IO Interactive’s classic Hitman franchise celebrating its 15^th anniversary, Square Enix Montréal (SEM) today revealed details of Hitman: Sniper’s new three-week competition as the game’s most talented agents compete for exclusive Hitman prizes and the bragging rights as the top assassin in Hitman: Sniper. Starting Nov. 26, SEM will kick off the first leg of the three-round competition by inviting players to submit their best score via the video site Everyplay. Additionally, for a limited time, Hitman: Sniper has been discounted to $1.99 USD.Each week, scores will be totaled based on the round’s unique challenge. The first round, titled “The Cleaner,” tasks participants with obtaining the highest score using the Jackal sniper rifle while disposing of every body. Each round offer a completely new challenge, and after all three rounds are completed, a winner will be announced.

The top assassin in Hitman: Sniper will receive a wide range of prizes including:

●     An iPad Air 2
●     A new in-game sniper rifle will be named after the winner
●     PlayStation 4 pre-order digital copy of HITMAN (Available on March 11)
●     Exclusive Hitman hoodie and bag
●     The Aria-Gold sniper rifle and 1 million in-game currency
