Developer Hi-Rez Studios has released a new Xbox One Closed Beta video for it’s free-to-play SMITE.
In addition, account Linking is now live for players with Xbox and PC SMITE accounts. In order to link accounts, players are required to have a SMITE PC account and a Microsoft account that has logged into SMITE on the Xbox One.
Linking your PC and Xbox accounts lets the developer know that the accounts are owned by the same person so that certain items can be unlocked on both platforms at once. Linking is a prerequisite for Account Merging, but doesn’t transfer or copy any items or progress. By linking your accounts, you’ll automatically unlock the Zeus X skin on both PC and Xbox, as well as the Soldier of Fortune Ares and Cacodemon X skins on the PC (if you’ve purchased the Founder’s Pack on Xbox).
