To guide the next generation of SinglesAroundMe® the team challenged themselves to rethink the connection between people using the metaphor “Hear Me”. A unique “open” communication gateway materialized. New “Like” buttons are now featured on every profile photo, allowing users to “Like” or “Dislike” people as they swipe through photos. Removing users that are no longer of interest, highlighting those that are “Liked” and showing the user all the people that “Liked” them in a “Likes” summary page, transformed the application. “This subtle but important difference is unique to SinglesAroundMe® and will lead to more genuine “Mutual Likes” between users and will lead to faster more meaningful connections,” said Julia Somers, Head of User Experience at SinglesAroundMe.
