Developer NKT Studio needs your votes on Steam Greenlight for their visual novel, Serment – Contract with a Devil. In addition, they have opened up a playable demo.
Serment is a visual novel, but with heavy focus on dungeon crawler elements and a RPG battle system similar to the famous Final Fantasy VII.
Unlike other RPGs where your goal is simply to grind until you 1-shot the final boss, the main objective in Serment is to pay debts before deadlines. Characters can get stronger via upgrades and purchasing equipment, but they are fairly expensive, so players will have to find the right balance between saving money and getting stronger in order to beat the game.
On top of that, Serment also features lovely anime style artworks (drawn by famous professional artists like Rosuuri (http://rosuuri.deviantart.com/), so the art quality can be guaranteed), a time system to further test players’ management abilities, interesting characters with unique personalities (all of whom are beautiful girls) and other minigames like fishing or cooking.
