Scram Kitty DX Launches this Week on PS4 and PS Vita

Cardiff, Wales – March 10th, 2015 – Independent games developer Dakko Dakko today announced that Scram Kitty DX – the enhanced version of last year’s critical hit ‘Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails’ – will launch on the PlayStation Store in the Americas on March 10th.

Developed by the studio behind PlayStation titles The 2D Adventures of Rotating Octopus Character and Floating Cloud God Saves the Pilgrims, Scram Kitty DX is a frenetic, fast-paced platform shooting game, which Eurogamer.net described as “a wonderfully idiosyncratic creation that, despite its smorgasbord of influences, feels like nothing else”, and Metro GameCentral called “A fantastic new arcade game … that takes plenty of inspiration from older classics but has just as many new ideas of its own.”

Featuring a unique control system that allows for 360 degree platforming action and thrilling 2D shooting, Scram Kitty DX sees players glide along colorfully glowing rails, leaping over the space station’s ample hazards and blasting back endless hordes of enemy rodents in search of the stranded Scram Kitty.

Here are the new screenshots:

Rhodri Broadbent, founder of Dakko Dakko, said “After a great year with Scram Kitty in 2014, we’re very excited to be bringing Scram Kitty DX to PlayStation players! I’m especially happy to say that because we have made DX a Cross-Buy and Cross-Save game, players who own both PS4 and Vita can synchronise their progress between devices and keep saving cats whether at home or on the go!”

Scram Kitty DX will be available to download from the PlayStation Store priced $9.99 (or local equivalent), with a 20% discount for PlayStation Plus members for the first two weeks! As a Cross-Buy title, players who own the game on PS4 can also download it for PlayStation Vita, and vice versa.
