OUTPLAY ENTERTAINMENT CELEBRATES ITS FIFTH ANNIVERSARY
Dundee, UK – When game industry veterans Douglas and Richard Hare founded Outplay Entertainment five years ago, they had a vision: to create compelling, high-quality games, and share them with a global audience on mobile devices and social networks. On the company’s five-year anniversary, they have achieved that goal and more. Along the way, Outplay has grown from a small start-up into an acclaimed development studio with a world-class, international team of more than 120 talented people.
The brothers credit Outplay’s success to a dedicated team, and to a company culture focused on excellence, experimentation… and, of course, fun. That focus has led to multiple Editors’ Choice accolades and Best New Game features as well as a BAFTA nomination and has made Outplay a player favorite. Studio highlights to date include recent releases Crafty Candy and Bubble Genius, the thrilling puzzle adventure Mystery Match, the explosive strategy game, Alien Creeps TD, and the hit bubble-shooter Angry Birds POP! — created in partnership with Rovio.
Five years on, Outplay shows no sign of slowing down.
