Nintendo has announced that Mobot Studios will be bringing the iOS hit Gears to Wii U this Spring.
Gears was originally released on the Apple platform by Crescent Moon Games and featured a choice of either tilt or touch control schemes, which the Wii U GamePad is very much capable of handling .
The changes that were made specifically for the Gear’s release on Wii U include the following:
- Complete graphics overhaul for the big screen
- New higher res textures
- Real-time lighting and shadows
- New Gamepad functionality
