Heroes & Generals Care Package Update Adds Three New Pistols

May 24th, 2017 Copenhagen – New handguns benefit both new and veteran players in World War 2 MMOFPS Heroes & Generals’ latest Care Package Update.

Have you ever found yourself in a tight spot where just one more handgun would make all the difference? The enemy has you cornered, your rifle is out of ammo, and just at the last second you pull a hidden pistol from your pocket to make that all important headshot!

Heroes & Generals introduces three new pistols for all soldiers:

The new pistols unlock early in the game benefitting rookie players. However, veteran players will find that the small size of these pistols makes them fit really well in almost any loadout.

“We get a lot of valuable feedback from our very dedicated community that helps us prioritize which features should have a little extra care,” says Jesper “Reto.Robotron3000” Donnis, Community Manager at Reto-Moto: “Thanks to the players, the ‘Care Package’-update improves the core game experience for all and paves the way for future updates.”

Among the improvements that were requested by the community, the ‘Care Package’-update introduces a so-called new Sound Occlusion system, where sounds from sources not visible to the player gets muffled. Running and sprint animations are more distinct, making for a more immersive gameplay experience. Casings ejecting from all weapons have been reworked to look more realistic. And players can now see when teammates are using a First Aid Kit to heal them.
