Help Fatshark Name Secret Game

STOCKHOLM – Fatshark announced that they need your help.

Fatshark is, like most in the gaming industry, working on more than one product at a time. That other product doesn’t have a real working title yet, and now only goes under the name 0921 (the Area Code for Boden). Although that is fine, especially according to our two staffers from the city of Boden, we think it deserves more than that.

So what is the secret project? Is it a new DLC, perhaps an expansion, another game all together? Lead and More Gold maybe, Hamilton’s Even Greater Adventure? Brand new IP? What is it!?!? Well, you don’t get to know that detail yet – you just get to name it.

“Game developers are often super-secretive regarding new projects, and they usually get a working title day one that is used until it’s officially announced. The names are randomly picked in the beginning and no one really thinks much about it. Then after a year or so, it’s not as catchy anymore.” Says Martin Wahlund, CEO Fatshark. “We like doing things a little differently at Fatshark, and we thought we’d get outside help to make our working title as great as it possibly can be.”

The name should be good, or even great. It may be printed on t-shirts for the employees, and on other things internally. The staff should be inspired to work on the project. Yes, that’s it. Nothing more than that. Simple.

The best working title will get a Fatshark Developer Promotion Kit, which includes Fatshark hoodie, Fatshark socks – and pretty much anything else they have that says Fatshark on it (can be a lot, they have a magic marker). Also all the PC games they have published.

So head on over here http://promo.fatsharkgames.com/name/ and enter the name that you think Fatshark should use for their new game.
