gamescom Award 2018: Nominees Announced

The final phase of the gamescom award 2018 has begun: the Jury, consisting of German and international games journalists, as well as well-known YouTubers and Co., have named the nominees. Prior to this, over 100 entries had been submitted to the gamescom award office. More than 30 new products qualified for the final round of the gamescom award 2018. This year, winners will be distinguished in a total of 29 categories. gamescom exhibitors and visitors (21 to 25 August 2018) are eagerly waiting to see who will be able to take one of the coveted trophies home with them after the festive award ceremony on Tuesday, 21 August at 12 pm in the Konrad-Adenauer-Saal (Congress Centre North).

From the start of the trade fair until Friday, 24 August at 2 pm, fans and visitors of gamescom can vote for their favourites in various fan categories such as Best Streamer/Let’s Player, Best Developer and Best Publisher via the official gamescom app. This also includes the gamescom “Most Wanted” Consumer award, which is voted by the fans from all the nominated games. These and other winners in the jury categories of Best Booth, Best of Campus and the gamescom Indie Award will be announced at gamescom Saturday at 3 pm on the Red Bull Stage powered by gamescom.
