E3 2019: Rebellion – Impressions of Zombie Army 4 and Sniper Elite VR

The Zombie Army series is back with its 4^th installment, Zombie Army 4, by Rebellion, and we had a hands on visit with the game. Zombie Army 4 is 1-4 players co-op that is setup in 1946. Europe is in ruins and is torn apart by the Plan Z. We played a 4 player co-op demo, that led us through some amazing number of zombies, and also several varieties of them. The level took us through a great number of setups on a train yard where we fought through the zombies. There are some great amount of guns and character customizations available, including special skills for each character. In addition, the levels have a vast amount of different battle strategies. Zombie Army 4 provides a bit of a unique gameplay, which does not felt repetitive. Zombie Army 4 is coming out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Epic Store) in early 2020.

Sniper Elite VR was another game that was announced by Rebillion at E3 2019. Pretty much a same gameplay but with more of a unique experience of VR. We did the demo of PS VR and it was an amazing experience.

Sniper Elite VR is a standalone game in the series and it takes you through a small battlefield, which gives a unique sense of reality. The game gives you different options for controls at the start. There are two difficulty options, one which was more realistic as it calculates wind and the other one was without wind. The best thing I liked about Sniper Elite VR was that when you needed to zoom in and look into the scope, you actually have to lift the gun up where the scope is closer to your eye. In addition, the X-Ray kill cams look great!. Motion controls are so immersive that it feels like you are moving. Sniper Elite VR is coming to PS VR, Occulus Rift, Steam VR, VIVEPORT. There is no estimated release date yet for the game.
