Daedalic Entertainment and bumblebee call on players to participate in their weekly Gorevember-challenges and win great prizes!

Hamburg, October 23rd, 2014 – This November will be bloody, dark and above all, full of pixels! To celebrate the upcoming Early Access release of the tower defense game “Oh my Gore!”, Daedalic Entertainment and developer bumblebee are launching the interactive game show “Gorevember” worldwide.

During Gorevember gamers can compete online in an epic pixel-based battle of Good VS Evil. The rewards for participating? You might win awesome items like ASUS hardware packs, nerd-goodies, Steam Keys, shirts and even a rad gaming PC for one of the lucky competitors.

Pick a side, Good or Evil, and rally now on Daedalic’s Facebook page. Challenges will be announced on Halloween in a weekly video message.

The Goal: earn as many pixel boxes as possible to create a massive pixel banner which will be built in Daedalic’s studio.

There will be weekly prices, including supplies for a spook-tacular Halloween party, sponsored by 3Dsupply.de. Over the course of Gorevember, there will also be Steam Keys, and cool “geek-treat” packs sponsored by crapwear.de, gameliebe.org and cerealkillerz.org. ASUS chips in hardware packages worth 200€ each.

If a team manages not only to finish the pixel banner, but also manages to earn enough gold and blood crystals, they can also unlock the jackpot: a high quality gaming PC.

The details of the Gorevember game show are explained in this video:

Oh My Gore! is a mix of RTS, Tower-Defense and Reverse-Tower-Defense, visualized in a 2D pixel-art top-down style. The player will join the forces of evil, playing an evil deity unrivaled in his viciousness and eager to exact revenge on the world for past wrongs. Nothing less than total world domination will satiate his hunger for vengeance; so the god-like player ventures forth to wipe out all goody-two-shoes from the planet.

That’s where the tower-defense mechanic kicks in: players conquer and defend territory after territory, castle after castle, keep after keep. The strike force includes vile orcs and demonic bone-knights. As soon as they assail and conquer one area, they’ll defend it against the attacks of noble knights.

The first conquered keep will be declared the Fortress of Evil and will be fortified with all kinds of vicious defenses.

Resource management is crucial in order to produce new units, gather resources and stock them. Quests allow the player to recruit more heroes who can also go on sidequests.

The mixture of retro-style pixel art and gripping super-villain storytelling turn Oh my Gore! into  non-stop tower-defense fun.

Oh my Gore is scheduled for release in early 2015 and will be available on Steam Early Access in December 2014.

The Gorevember Gameshow starts now and ends November 27.
