This is the PC version early access preview for Clandestine by developer Logic Artists.
Clandestine is a two-player co-op stealth/hacking game set in the 90’s. An asymmetrical co-op system allows one player to take the role of the spy while a friend provides overwatch and assistance as the hacker, or play in Single Player and switch back and forth with the push of a button.

Graphics
Clandestine graphics are somewhat awkward. We like the screen colors, but the character movements are not as smooth and crisp as we’d like them to be. We gave the graphics a 7 / 10.
Sound
Clandestine has a cool sound track. We enjoyed it and thought that it fit the game perfectly. We gave the sound a 9 / 10.
Gameplay
There are two very distinct roles in Clandestine – the Operative and the Hacker. In the Operative role, players have a rather large selection of tools that are at their disposal, which include a panic siren that can be used in an emergency to stun guards temporarily; grenades, and a device to be thrown in order to attract guards.
In the Hacker role, players see a live camera feed, a hacker map, a top-downlevel map, and log that provides a readout of your activities. In the roler of the Hacker, players must spot guards and mark them in addition to providing direction and eyes to the operative.
The game itself provides exciting scenarios, which include a huge array of fighting, shooting, taking down, and solving hacking puzzles.
However, we did find some of the gameplay to be a bit lacking and a bit unsteady, but understand that this game is still in Early Access. An example is when it comes to take-downs of guards and firing the weapons – it just feels a bit off-balance. We gave the gameplay a 7.5 / 10.
Overall
Overall, Clandestine has the potential of being almost Splinter Cell like, with a great deal of fun especially when playing the co-op version with a friend. Being in Early Access, the developer has been working out the kinks. We would recommend that you give it a try.
