AMP Energy and Twitch Ask Fans to Level Up through Exclusive Gaming Partnership

Program features first-ever co-branded Twitch cans and sweepstakes for trips to TwitchCon 2016

PURCHASE, NYAMP Energy and Twitch, the world’s leading social video platform and community for gamers have teamed up to bring gamers a one-of-a-kind program that encourages AMP Energy fans and the Twitch community to ‘level up’ their gaming experience this spring and summer. The program features a national fan and broadcaster sweepstakes, a new website, limited-edition gear and co-branded AMP Energy + Twitch cans, marking the first time the iconic Twitch logo has ever been used on any non-gaming retail product.

Exclusive AMP Energy + Twitch Cans

Starting this week at retailers nationwide, fans can purchase exclusive AMP Energy + Twitch cans featuring the iconic Twitch logo and #AMPLevelUp partnership – the first time Twitch has ever partnered with a brand to create a co-branded can. The limited-edition cans will be available through August, in both Original and Cherry flavors.

Ready for the Next Level?

Starting May 16 through September 5, fans can get ready for the next level of Twitch gaming by entering into a sweepstakes for a chance to win limited-edition AMP Energy + Twitch co-branded gear, including highly-coveted hoodies, t-shirts and beanies that aren’t available for purchase, Alienware gaming rigs or trips to TwitchCon 2016® this Fall in San Diego, Calif. Here’s how it works:

  • Follow: Follow AMP Energy on Facebook or Instagram
  • Tag: Tag a photo of yourself and your AMP Energy Twitch can with @AMPENERGY and #AMPLevelUpSweepstakes
  • Win: You could win a trip to TwitchCon 2016® and other cool AMP Energy + Twitch gear and prizes

 

Calling All Broadcasters

Additionally, starting May 16 through August 6, AMP Energy is giving Twitch’s community of 1.7 million broadcasters the opportunity to enter into a ‘broadcasters only’ sweepstakes by typing #AMPSweepstakes into their Twitch livestream title from Thursday through Sunday between the hours of 8 to 10 p.m. ET. Broadcasters have a chance to win a homepage carousel placement takeover, one of 110 limited-edition hoodies and cash prizes.
