Top eSports Teams Will Compete in North American Regional Finals on the Professional RL2460HT Display

COSTA MESA, Calif. — Feb. 19, 2016 — BenQ America Corp.,, a globally renowned LED and gaming monitor expert, today announced that ZOWIE, the company’s new eSports brand, will supply the RL2460HT as official monitor for the Major League Gaming (MLG) Arena during the Halo World Championship North American Regional Finals. Engineered to create the ultimate gaming experience, the company’s displays provide first-person shooter (FPS) and real-time strategy (RTS) players with the fastest way to the next level of play — with more speed, accuracy and onscreen visibility to dominate the competition.

ZOWIE will supply the RL2460HT console gaming monitors for the event, held in Columbus, Ohio on Feb. 19-21 at the MLG Arena. Part of ZOWIE’s professional eSports product family, the RL series monitors enable blazing-fast response times to offer exceptional performance, ensuring the optimum gaming experience during long hours of action-packed competition. This March at the Halo World Championship Finals, top eSports teams Evil Geniuses, CLG, Team Liquid and more will face off in a heated battle for a crowd-funded prize pool of over $2 million.

“We’re proud to support the best eSports competitors for the upcoming North American Regional Final,” said Ronald Kim, eSports marketing at BenQ America Corp. “As a dedicated leader in the community, we’ve designed our RL series monitors to bring out the best in console gaming with exclusive innovations that exceed the high demands of competitive gamers.”

The RL2460HT 24-inch LED backlit gaming monitor is purpose-built for high-speed PC and console gaming — perfect for FPS, RTS- and MOBA-style games, as well as fighting games. Co-developed with fighting game legend Justin “JWong” Wong of Evil Geniuses, the monitor’s Fighting Mode enables gamers to highlight battle characters with special colors — improving focus and precision during high-stakes combat scenes. The RL2460HT boasts a built-in HDMI output to provide uncompromised streaming for head-to-head multiplayer gaming on a single screen.
