Established in 1998, Ad Magic has quickly grown to become the most successful American independent printer of tabletop games. Over the past 17 years, no less than 10 million customized card and board games have been printed, many of them critically acclaimed, award-winning marvels of game design, and they are heading to Essen, Germany. Designed by award-winning game designer Elan Lee (I Love Bees, Year Zero, Dirty Work) together with Shane Small and Matthew Inman of comic site Oatmeal fame, Exploding Kittens started as a Kickstarter project, reaching its 10,000 USD goal in only 8 short minutes. At completion, Exploding Kittens had pulverized the competition, clocking in at 8,782,571 USD and 219,382 backers, not only setting the record for most backers in Kickstarter history, but also ending as the fourth most funded campaign on the crowdfunding site.
Ad Magic and its new tabletop game and board game publishing and promotion division, Breaking Games, will be presenting the international release of Exploding Kittens and Exploding Kittens NSFW at Spiel ‘15.
