Valkyrie Connect Starts Collaboration with Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works]

Ateam Inc. (headquarters: Nagoya, Japan; president: Takao Hayashi; hereafter “Ateam”) announced today that the global version of its fantasy RPG game Valkyrie Connect is beginning a collaboration event with Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works].

The “Otherworldly Visitors” collaboration event quests are available in Valkyrie Connect from today. By playing through the original story, created especially for this collaboration, players can earn the character “Rin Tohsaka” and her specialty gear, “Rin’s Pendant”. “Rin Tohsaka” receives massively boosted stats in the collaboration Connect Battle, so players will want to be sure to progress and power her up!

Free “Kanshou and Bakuya Swords” for All Players!

All players who log in during the event period will receive the 3-star gear “Kanshou and Bakuya Swords” for free.

*Each player may only receive one “Kanshou and Bakuya Swords” gear free.

Collaboration Exclusive “Gilgamesh Strikes!” Connect Battle!Earn the “Gilgamesh” Hero for a Limited Time Only!

The “Gilgamesh Strikes!” Connect Battle is available for a limited time only. The player who started the battle has a chance to obtain Gilgamesh’s soul when completing it successfully. Gilgamesh’s soul can be used to unlock him as a playable character. Hero King Tokens also have a chance to drop for all players, which can be exchanged for Gilgamesh’s Souls and Gilgamesh’s specialty gear, “Enuma Elish Ea X”. Gilgamesh has boosted stats in collaboration event quests, so unlocking him will earn players an invaluable ally.

Chance at Collaboration Heroes “Saber”, “Archer”, and “Shirou Emiya”! “Fate/stay night [UBW] Summon” Available for a Limited Time!

Collaboration-exclusive characters “Saber”, “Archer”, “Shirou Emiya”, and special gear appear in the “Fate/stay night [UBW] Summon” available for a limited time only. Saber has boosted stats in the “Otherworldly Visitors” quests, Shirou Emiya has boosted stats in the “Gilgamesh Strikes!” Connect Battle, and Archer has boosted stats in both. Getting these heroes will help players progress in the collaboration event. One of these heroes is guaranteed every third “10x Summon”, and “Saber” is guaranteed on the 10^th “10x Summon”!

Chance at Collaboration Heroes and Gear in the Ranking Event!

Players can earn collaboration heroes and gear in the new ranking event, divided into three separate seasons. Players earn “Grail Points” by participating in the “Otherworldly Visitors” and “Gilgamesh Strikes!” events. Players are ranked against one another based on the number of Grail Points obtained, and based on their rank, can earn “Proofs of Contract”. These Proofs of Contract can be exchanged for heroes and gear. By earning a top rank, players can receive the characters and gear they want.

About Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works]

A war is brewing in Fuyuki City for the Holy Grail, said to grant any wish of the one who obtains it. To fight in this war, seven mages have each summoned a familiar called a Servant. These Servants are “Saber”, “Lancer”, “Archer”, “Rider”, “Caster”, “Assassin”, and “Berserker”. These mages are willing to do whatever it takes to reign victorious in the Holy Grail War, and no one is sure to make it out alive.
