STUDIO WILDCARD HOLDS SEPTEMBER ‘SURVIVOR LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP’ GAMES THIS SATURDAY ON TWITCH
And Then Tune in Sunday for the Last Man Standing Five-Man Tourney
Seattle, WA – Studio Wildcard, the studio that never sleeps, is storming into October with two giant community-driven tournaments. The ARK: Survival of the Fittest September Survivor League Championship match will take place from 11 am to 2 pm EST on Saturday, October 8, 2016, with a bounty of more than $65,000 in prizes to the winners. The championship games will be shout-casted by typeForced! on Twitch at www.twitch.tv/survivetheark.

Never known to do something half way, Studio Wildcard will then turn around and hold a totally new tournament the next day, called the Last Man Standing Mod 5-Man Tournament! The tournament will be run using a Survival of the Fittest mod created by community member Katti. The event will be streamed on Twitch at 11 am EST, Sunday, October 9, 2016 at by Davnell: www.twitch.tv/davnell
Different than the Survivor League, Last Man Standing uses tribes of five and will consist of three 1.5 hour matches where points are awarded for tribe survival placement (10 points for 1st, descending by 1 point for each successive position, 0 points for 11th place and below). The highest points accumulated points at the end of the three matches wins!

The Prize Pool Consists of:
- 1st place: $2,500 USD (5x$500)
- 2nd Place: $1,250 USD (5x$250)
- 3rd Place: $750 USD (5x$150)
- 4th Place: $500 USD Steam gift cards (5xS100 cards)
- 5th Place: Scorched Earth keys (x5)

ARK: Survival Evolved is in development for Xbox One via the ID@Xbox program, PlayStation 4 with VR support, and Steam PC. The game is currently playable in Microsoft’s Game Preview on Xbox One and Steam’s Early Access program, which includes Oculus Rift VR support and an integration of Steam community features such as Steam Economy and Steam Workshop for custom maps and mods. Players can host private/LAN servers and have access to a custom-built version of the Unreal Engine 4 Editor for creating mods. The world of ARK is designed to be modder-friendly and ever-expanding!
