The latest from developer Forgotten Key, AER: Memories of Old has found publication through Deadalic Entertainment. An installment dead set on encouraging exploration, the game cuts to the chase by presenting clear goals and infinite routes to completion. Narrative checkpoints do not emulate obnoxious neon, but instead you fortunately stumble upon them. Like a child moving to a new neighborhood, friends are made haphazardly and social paranoia dissipates once a basketball emerges from a garage.

Based on the International Best-Seller by Ken Follett, Pillars of the Earth Brings the Celebrated Novel to Life with Its First Ever Video Game Adaption
I had the pleasure of meeting the Daedalic crew at E3 and playing a couple of their games. The first one is Ken Follett’s The Pillars of the Earth. I really enjoyed the gaming adventure and had a lot of fun playing it. This was a very enjoyable storytelling-driven experience based in 12th Century England. The Pillars of the Earth is very interactive, and actually changes the events of the book through decision making, character interaction and dialogue as well as exploration. I highly recommend it!
