Double Damage Games Launches Highly Acclaimed Space Opera on Xbox One and Launching on PS4 in EU January 15th

(Seattle, WA) – January 14, 2016 — Independent developer Double Damage Games has announced that Rebel Galaxy is now live on Xbox One across North America and EU territories and will be launching on PS4 in the EU on January 15th. Rebel Galaxy previously launched on PC and Mac in October 2015 and on PS4 in North America on January 5th. Now console players can get their hands-on the thrilling space action RPG. Players can upgrade weapons and defenses, acquire new ships, negotiate with aliens, and battle pirates in this open space sandbox.

“We are pleased to announce Rebel Galaxy is now available on both console systems in North America as well as being available now on Xbox One in the EU, and that the PS4 version launches January 15th in the EU,” said Travis Baldree, Co-Founder of Double Damage Games. “The game was designed with controllers in mind, and we’re excited to give the PlayStation and Xbox communities a chance to experience this epic space adventure.”

Rebel Galaxy is an action-packed, swashbuckling space opera. You’ll battle pirates, explore anomalies, befriend aliens, scavenge battle wreckage, mine asteroids, and discover artifacts. Choose your path as a roguish do-gooder, crafty space-trader or power-hungry privateer – or maybe a little of each!  Buy larger and more powerful craft with your hard-earned credits, and outfit them with a variety of wicked weapons and defenses. Set in a galaxy of fantastic sights and secrets to be found, Rebel Galaxy is above all a space epic of adventure, exploration, and combat.

Rebel Galaxy is now available on PC through Steam and GOG. The console versions of Rebel Galaxy were ported by Blitworks Software.
