Extinction Editor Allows Gamers to Customize Experience on Steam
SAN DIEGO – March 2, 2016 –Circle 5 Studios and Pub Games have announced that Primal Carnage: Extinction has launched a new tool within the game, giving users the chance to create their own maps and skins for a more personalized experience. The editor is available to everyone who owns Primal Carnage: Extinction for PC.
All users will have to do is visit the ‘Software’ tab in Steam and download the Extinction Editor. Players now have the chance to create their own maps, cinematics, skins, and more. Whether it’s designing a vast tropical jungle or a fun dinosaur-related machinima, the realm of possibilities is endless.
With the Extinction Editor, players are able to create content that can be shared with the community using Steam Workshop. When it comes to creating new skins and cosmetics, players can submit to a workshop curation system where other players can vote on them. If the developer approves them, the creator will be able to make money off the in-game sales.
Primal Carnage: Extinction is the perfect mix of easy, fun and fast-paced action. It features unique dinosaur gameplay, specialized human classes, and an endless amount of thrilling “how will we survive” gameplay situations that are created by the clashes between humans and dinosaurs. Users are able to choose from 10 dinosaur classes, including the mighty T-Rex, deadly Raptors, and high-flying Pteranadon following a survival of the fittest model.
Not only can users play as their favorite dinosaur or mercenary, but they can cooperate with other players working together to defeat the opposing team in a variety of gameplay modes. Fight to the top of the food chain in Team Deathmatch, work together to reach rescue, or trap the humans so they don’t leave the island in the objective-based, Get to the Chopper. Survival mode is a team experience where humans are against endless waves of AI dinosaurs. Not to mention, 14 varied environments, from lush tropical jungles to abandoned labs.
Primal Carnage: Extinction is available in 17 countries and in four different languages, English, Spanish, German and French, offering opportunities for everyone to jump right in and enjoy all the game has to offer.
