Outplay Entertainment has been shortlisted for Growth Champion of the Year for the 2016 Growth Investor Awards. The Growth Champion award recognizes the optimal use of growth capital in small and medium UK businesses.
Since opening its studio in Dundee in 2011, Outplay has demonstrated impressive growth, evolving from a small start-up into an acclaimed development studio with a world-class, multi-national team of more than 130 people. Along the way, the company has built a portfolio of successful games, earning multiple Editors’ Choice accolaNewsdes and Best New Game features as well as a BAFTA nomination.
Studio highlights to date include the magical match three adventure Crafty Candy, the bubble shooting adventure Bubble Genius, the puzzle thriller Mystery Match, the explosive action defense title Alien Creeps TD, and the hit bubble-popper Angry Birds POP! — created in partnership with Rovio.

The Growth Champion of the Year winner will be announced on November 3 at the Growth Investor Awards black-tie dinner, held at the Marriott Grosvenor Square, Mayfair, London.
