Nintendo of America has apologized for the eShop being down during the holidays. Many users reported that they were not able to access the Nintendo eShop on their Wii U, 3DS, and 2DS. Nintendo of America responded on December 29th by sending out a Tweet apologizing:
We sincerely apologize for this week's inconsistencies and thank you again for your patience and support.
