NBA LIVE 15 Roster Update Details

Electronic Arts Inc.  has released the new roster update for NBA Live 15.

The following is taken directly from the official website:

Let’s start with the Cleveland Cavaliers, who addressed their disappointing 19-17 start by shaking up their rotation.

After weeks of speculation, the Cavs traded away talented, but unpredictable shooting guard Dion Waiters to the Oklahoma City Thunder, and received J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert from the New York Knicks in a three-team deal.

Shumpert gives the Cavs a much-needed helping of perimeter defense, and won’t be called upon to score as much as he was in New York.

The Cavs rank near the bottom of the NBA in defensive field goal percentage, as opponents have shot a healthy 46.9% against them.

Cleveland also comes away with Smith, the former NBA 6th Man of the Year.

Despite his chucking reputation, Smith should give the Cavs backcourt some added firepower.

Mired in a 6-23 swoon to start the season, the Detroit Pistons released forward Josh Smith, who promptly signed with the Houston Rockets.

The trade appears to have rejuvenated both parties. The Pistons have rattled off six consecutive wins, including a buzzer-beater win at San Antonio on January 7, while Smith has improved his shooting from 39% with Detroit to 45% with Houston.

NBA Live 15 is available for Xbox One and PS4.
