Gumballs & Dungeons Launches Massive Update Today

Thousands of players can enjoy location-based matching,
new maze and gumballs, chat system and more!

XIAMEN, China – Games publisher Qcplay Limited announced that the largest upgrade to date in the hit free-to-play mobile game, Gumballs & Dungeons, is now live. Gumballs & Dungeons is a roguelike dungeon crawler that combines RPG, strategy, collection, adventure, and PvP gameplay – a compelling blend of styles that has earned the title a breakthrough audience and a 4.7-star user review rating and over one million downloads worldwide.

Players will experience several exciting upgrades to the game, including a new science and technology style-maze called City of Steam, which includes two new gumballs, location-based social matching with Chain of Fate, and a robust new chat system that allows real-time communication with players all over the world.

Chain of Fate introduces location-based gameplay to Gumballs & Dungeons. Search for other players nearby to achieve a chain of fate and bring forth new life! After completing the first maze, the Fate Pillar will show other nearby players searching for matches. If a match is accepted, players may claim rewards and create Gumball babies which boost attributes and special abilities. Players will have three chances each day to attempt a Fate Link with others.

In City of Steam, players will discover fresh gameplay, two new gumballs and special hidden rewards in this fog-filled maze based on science and technology. Before entering, special fragments must be collected and activated in the New Mazes Miracle Shop. On the first floor of the maze, players will acquire the Engineering Manual, opening up technology trees for Mechanics, Electrical Science and Aviation. Also on the first floor is an Old Interphone which can be used to summon airships. Use your new magic wisely, however – this great power may trigger a battle with the powerful boss Guardian!

City of Steam also introduces two new gumballs: Zeroes Gumball and Future Cat Gumball. Players will receive Zeroes Gumball after each normal stage in the maze, but Future Cat Gumball is hidden. When he appears, the Dynamic System is activated and players must collect all the dynamic elements and pass the System before he can be recruited.

The worldwide Chat system becomes available once players repair the airship from the Air War and begin exploring the Sky. They meet a Radio Operator who requests assistance in repairing the damaged radio, thereby activating the system. Players may choose to chat on the World Channel, or from one of the many different languages available.

Repairing the airship will also trigger the new Alliance System, allowing players to create or join alliances. Alliances offer the chance to team up with other players, chat in the alliance channel, compare ratings, share resources and acquire special items. Donating resources to an alliance will help players gain extra alliance coins that can be spent on a variety of precious items in the alliance store, and members can upgrade their alliance with donated items, unlocking new alliance advantages and increasing the number of available items in the alliance store.

Players who reach the 100th level with all seven Keys and kill the boss in Endless mode have another revelation in store: a portal to the Gate of Creation will open where they can meet the famous Masters of Erathia Island and chat with them to gain rewards! Touch the Gate of Creation several times and inspect it closely; more surprises await…

Gumballs & Dungeons is a free-to-play Roguelike dungeon-crawling RPG for iOS and Android mobile devices. Players embark on a great adventure with players from around the world as they lead their Swordsman, Demon Hunter, Mage, and Death Knight on a quest to defeat the Evil Dominator of the Erathia continent.

The game blends elements of adventure, strategy, and collectible games, challenging players to upgrade characters and equipment in order to delve deeper and further into dungeons.
