“Family Guy became the success it is by bringing a sarcastic, off-the-wall, in-your-face voice to television audiences that was really unlike anything else that we’d ever seen,” said Josh Yguado, co-founder and president of Jam City. “So when we made this game we wanted to make sure that we were bringing that same hilarious and rebellious tradition to mobile phones.” Added Yguado: “This game is not for kids . . . or the easily offended.”
The puzzle-based game gives players a chance to interact with everyone’s favorite characters from the Family Guy universe. Deliver a knockout blow to the Giant Chicken, and help Quagmire get giggity. The game is a truly authentic Family Guy experience that fans will love. New game content will be added weekly with regular episode tie-ins introducing storylines, hijinks and debauchery straight from the show, into the game.
“My children tell me many young people own smartphones, so this seemed like a good idea,” said Family Guy Executive Producer Rich Appel.
Jam City has made a science out of turning some of Hollywood’s largest entertainment franchises into hit mobile games. The mobile gaming publisher is the creator of 6 of the Top 100 highest grossing games played in the United States across both iPhone and Android devices.
