Free Update and Two New DLC Packs Build on Amplitude Studios’ Rich Heritage of Community-Driven Content
Paris, France — November 19, 2015 — From Amplitude Studios, the dynamic French developer that brought gamers the award-winning game Endless Space and Dungeon of the Endless, comes a huge update for the critically acclaimed strategy game, Endless Legend. Amplitude Studios has revealed its huge update titled ‘Forges of Creation‘ featuring Steam Workshop for Endless Legend. The update also includes a huge amount of content unlocked by the community via the studio’s Games2Gether program and a previous Steam Free Weekend challenge. The ‘Forges of Creation’ update is available now on Steam for FREE.
To add to the rich and creative Steam Workshop tool availability, Amplitude has offered up two new diverse and engaging DLC packs: Endless Legend: Lost Tales DLC and Endless Legend: Echoes of Auriga DLC, available now on Steam.
Amplitude’s Games2Gether community members have clamored for the Steam Workshop for months now. In addition to introducing the option to reskin 3D units, the free Forges of Creation Steam Workshop update gives gamers the chance to create, store, and retrieve mods, offering creative players an endless depth of replayability and exploration in an already deep and enchanting universe. The compatibility with the open source Map Editor called Tiled gives players the chance to bring forth their favorite fantasy worlds for others to experience and change. The update also includes content unlocked by the community such as a new Sister of Mercy hero, new hero items, additional custom faction traits, a powerful ‘Guardian Killer’ unit (only available for Endless Legend Guardians owners) and a great number of AI improvements introducing the notion of ‘Faction Personality.’
If Forges of Creation taps into players’ inner map-builder, The Lost Tales DLC Pack is a unique offering that gives strategy enthusiasts the chance to purchase a collection of more than 20 quests related to Minor Factions. What are the Delvers hiding behind their skull masks? Can the banished Dorgeshis be trusted? Why exactly are the tribes of Hurnas and Tetike fighting? The Lost Tales is your chance to fade back into Amplitude’s fantasy world with all-new and unique B-side quests and missions.
For the sonically-driven strategy enthusiast, Amplitude has even more! It’s offering a new soundtrack for the game in the Echoes of AurigaDLC pack. Echoes of Auriga features seven new musical tracks composed by our one and only FlybyNo, with related new hero items, such as the “Harp of Noby Fly.”
