Major Nelson of Xbox has referenced a Q&A on how to attend this year’s E3 2015 Xbox FanFest.
Xbox will give 500 lucky fans a one-of-a-kind ticket for E3 week, the gaming industry’s biggest showcase. The Xbox FanFest Ticket will include:
- Entry into the Xbox E3 2015 Briefing on Monday, June 15th, 9:30 a.m. PDT, in downtown Los Angeles.
- Invite to the exclusive Xbox FanFest Party, Monday afternoon, June 15th, where fans will get to play the best exclusives and biggest blockbuster games this holiday and beyond.
- VIP access to the Xbox esports Celebrity Challenge & Twitch Party sponsored by Xbox.
- The chance to meet some of the industry’s top developers, leaders, and influencers.
- Even more surprise events during the week.
Where can I pick up Xbox FanFest tickets?
Fans can lineup at the Microsoft Store at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles, starting Saturday, June 13th. The Microsoft Store is located at 10250 Santa Monica Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA. Lineup will take place near LensCrafters, on Avenue of the Stars.
When can I get in line to pick up the Xbox FanFest tickets?
Fans can start lining up at 10 p.m. PDT on Saturday, June 13th. FanFest tickets will be distributed when doors open to the Microsoft Store at 11 a.m. PDT on Sunday, June 14th.
Is there an age-minimum to attend Xbox FanFest?
Yes, every ticket-holder has to be over 21 years of age. Parents with children under the age of 21 are not allowed. We will require a valid, government-issued, picture ID (driver’s license, passport) as part of the check-in for all 500 lucky fans. You will have to fill out a liability waiver form.
How many Xbox FanFest tickets can I get?
One ticket; one person – tickets are non-transferable and cannot be resold.
If I’m traveling to LA, are there hotel accommodations?
It’s up to the individual to pay for their own travel and hotel accommodations.
Can I reserve an Xbox FanFest ticket before June 14th?
Tickets are only available first-come, first-serve to the first 500 eligible fans.
What if I can only spend a couple of days in LA; can you tell me now what the other surprises are for the rest of the week?

Will the 500 fans be able to go to E3, like some fans did last year?

Do I need to have an account on Xbox Live?
If you are one of the lucky 500 fans we will ask for additional information like your gamertag, Gamerscore etc. If you don’t have an Xbox Live gamertag, you’ll need to set up an account on Xbox Live and get one. Sign up here.
What if my significant other/friend doesn’t have an account on Xbox Live but we are both in line and eligible to attend Xbox FanFest?
To be eligible for Xbox FanFest, each person must have an account on Xbox Live. Getting an account on Xbox Live is free. An Xbox Live Gold membership is not required to participate in Xbox FanFest.
