Destiny Beta Causing PSN Connectivity Issues

The day has finally arrived when developer  Bungi’s Destiny Beta has gone live, but with it comes some connectivity issues for PSN.

Here is the statement issued by PlayStation Support:

The PlayStation Network is currently: Intermittently available.

The PlayStation Network is currently experiencing high volume and users may experience issues when connecting to the service. We will update you with any changes that may occur in regards to this issue. Thank you for your patience.

If you would like to receive a notice when PSN is fully restored, be sure to follow the official PlayStation Twitter account and our support Twitter account, @AskPlayStation.
