The following is Tomb Raider’s Creative Director, Noah Hughes interview. He states that the Guardian of Light series will not be built upon, but rather taking the young Lara Croft forward is the intention:
After the rocky SimCity US launch, the game’s publisher, EA, promises a smoother European launch, as you can see in their latest tweet:
We’re making changes to prevent further issues, and are confident that Origin will be stable for international launches later this week.
Ubisoft’s Creative Director, Jean Guesdon, said that Ubisoft Montreal is leading development with assistance from Ubisoft Singapore, Ubisoft Sofia and Ubisoft Québec on the single-player side, with Ubisoft Annecy and Ubisoft Bucharest working on multiplayer. It’s been also revealed that Ubisoft Kiev and Ubisoft Montpelier are onboard.
In a Ubisoft interview, Creative Director, Jean Guesdon, said: “Desmond has been the main protagonist of the franchise so far. This won’t be the case in [Black Flag]; that being said [Black Flag] is not a reboot, neither is it a spinoff and we’re continuing to develop a consistent mythology. So yes, Desmond will be referred to as a very important legacy of the AC universe.”

Total War Shogun 2: Gold Edition is now available in North American retail stores. The game is comprised of the core game along with the expansions Rise of The Samurai and Fall of The Samurai.
Carston Myhill, Lead Game Content Manager for Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, spoke briefly about the PS4 version of the game, mentioning “enhanced graphics” as well as how Ubisoft has “very cool ideas” for the new controller. He added: “For PS4, the primary difference is the enhanced graphics, the enhanced visuals” explains Myhill. “Now on our side we’ll be supporting that side of things. You imagine a rich epic vibrant world like the Caribbean is ideal visually to take advantage of the horsepower of the PS4″.
Well, now we know that it’s a fact. The game, Thief 4, will indeed be released by Square Enix for PS4, PC, as well as other next-gen platforms sometime in 2014.
Screenshots of the supposed Thief 4 have begun to appear online. The game is reportedly coming “in 2014 on PC and next-generation consoles” (Square Enix). The hooded guy is Garrett, a master infiltrator, archer and incurable kleptomaniac. The game is currently in development at Eidos Montreal.
