Call of Duty: Ghosts Teams to Compete at ESPN’s X Games

For the first time ever, the MLG X Games Invitational will take Place at X Games Austin on June 6-8 with X Games Medals Awarded to MLG Pro Gamers.

The top five Call of Duty: Ghosts teams based on MLG Pro Points rankings and the top three finishers (CompLexity, EnVyUs and OpTic Gaming) from the recent Call of Duty Championship, presented by Xbox, will be invited by MLGto compete in the three-day invitational to be played on Xbox One. Fans can watch the competition in person beginning Friday, June 6 or tune in to the broadcast via MLG.tv, MLG.tv apps for iOS and Android, and MLG.tv app for Xbox 360.

MLG Executive VP of Sales, Don Reilley, said,

“The popularity of competitive gaming and the MLG Pro Circuit is at an all-time high with millions watching the best gamers compete each month on MLG.tv. This collaboration with X Games will help further bring MLG to the mainstream while we provide advertisers with quality exposure and deep engagement with our fan base on MLG.tv across all platforms.”

Call of Duty: Ghosts Teams to Compete at ESPN’s X Games Fans can watch all of the MLG X Games action on MLG.tv across all platforms (www.MLG.tv, MLG.tv app for Xbox 360, MLG.tv apps for iOS and Android devices) from June 6-8. MLG’s presence at X Games Austin will be highlighted during X Games telecasts, airing on ESPN and ABC, and on X Games digital and social platforms.

Fans can purchase tickets for X Games Austin for the event. A three-day X Games Experience ticket is available for $89 and provides access to the MLG tent in addition to all X Games activity. For only $100 more, fans can purchase an extremely limited “3-Day Major League Gaming Premium Upgrade” to secure reserved seating in the MLG tent, a behind-the-scenes tour, meet and greets with top Call of Duty players, a gift bag including MLG merchandise, gaming gear and more.
