Agreement Includes Creative Collaborations, Distribution Support, and Sponsorship of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Day Finals

COSTA MESA, Calif. — Nov. 23, 2015 — BenQ America Corp., an internationally renowned professional gaming monitor pioneer and official gaming monitor sponsor for the 2015 Major League Gaming (MLG) Pro Circuit season, today announced a new partnership with video game developer and publisher Ubisoft. Under the agreement, the companies will collaborate on creative collateral; digital assets, such as Closed Beta code distribution; event sponsorships; promotional initiatives; and online community efforts. The partnership with BenQ is Ubisoft’s first agreement with the international technology brand.

“BenQ’s commitment to delivering the best player experience made them a strong partner to support Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege events,” said Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Ubisoft. “As a leader in gaming monitors, we know BenQ will enhance the competitive gameplay experience at Siege Day.”

Collaboration between Ubisoft and BenQ kicked off with the announcement of the Siege Games that started in San Diego this past July. Siege Day, the culmination of the Siege Games, is being held today in Los Angeles. The live-streamed event brings winners from the Siege Games events to battle it out in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. In addition to sponsorship and promotional collaborations, BenQ is providing console monitors for the winning team to take home after the event.

“Collaborating with a gaming powerhouse such as Ubisoft allows us to reach a broader spectrum of the gaming community, pushing our involvement with the marketplace to an entirely new level,” said J.Y. Hu, vice president, business line management at BenQ America Corp. “We look forward to empowering a larger number of dedicated players with the tools and technology that are needed for refining today’s competitive performances, facilitating better visual comfort, and improving the overall onscreen experience on a wide range of games.”
