Indie developer Still Games has announced that they have reached their Kickstarter goal for action-adventure RPG Animal Gods.
November 6, 2014 – Sheperdstown, West Virginia, USA – Everyone at Still Games would like to thank their backers, as well as the media and press and everyone who helped this campaign to succeed.
“We’re thrilled to have reached our funding target! The response from our backers has been amazing, and now that we are funded we’re excited to be able to make Animal Gods a reality,” said Peter Harmon, Game Designer for Animal Gods. “For the next 48 hours we’re going to be focussed on the stretch goals for the campaign and hoping we can take Animal Gods to the PlayStation 4!”
In addition, Animal Gods just passed Steam GreenLight!
Inspired by the likes of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Still Games’ Animal Gods tells the story of the rise of an unlikely hero, trying to save the world and free the Animal Gods. In the game, players explore the ancient roots of European history, featuring massive 2D side-scrolling battles in the wonderfully colorful & beautifully ravaged setting of ancient Europe.
