In a press release sent to Gaming Cypher, Founder Marco D’Alia announced that 3DRacers, a smartphone-conrolled 3D-printed mini cars game has launched on Indiegogo.
3DRacers is a 3D printed racing game, based on Arduino and smartphone enabled. Design your car online, choose from over 100.000 variations and 3D print your model. Race with your friends (up to 1000 simultaneously!!) with the Android/Iphone app and automatic lap counter.
In addition, this product will be the first ever to be produced through distributed manufacture, with the
collaboration of 3DHubs.
The Game Features:
- Race with your friends (up to 1000 players)
- Drive with the Android/Iphone app or the 3D printed remote
- Watch real time score boards and lap times: each car has a sensor that detect specially designed gates.
- Play in BATTLE mode with power-ups and weapons, or SIM Mode: with warm-up, pit-stops and realistic fuel and tires consumption.

The final price will be $49 for the complete kit that you can print it yourself, or $75 with all the printed parts shipped from 3DHubs.
A special package for schools is also available, with a 10-lesson guide to learning programming with 3DRacers, written by the team. It’s a great opportunity to take advantage of the fun factor of the game to introduce kids to programming in an enjoyable way.
